New weekend activity offered!
May 16th update: New activity offered!
Outdoor discovery of the Coaticook and Compton areas
Date: July 2nd
On this afternoon and evening discovery of two areas of the Eastern Townships region, we will visit the Louis S. St. Laurent National Historic Site, go to the Baldwin-Coaticook piscicultural station (fish hatchery) and observe different fish species, hike the Sentier des moulins along the river, make a stop at Lake Lyster Beach (and hike the Mont Pinacle, if we have time), discover the Laiterie Coaticook and, to end the day in an exceptional way, we will visit the Foresta Lumina multimedia forest trail.
Besides our free evening activities, we also offer a variety of optional activities at an extra-cost, that usually take place in the weekend.
These are the activities we are proposing on 2016:
A day in Montréal
Date: June 18th
On this free day in Montréal, you will be able to simply explore the city, or go to one of the activities proposed.
The activity only includes transportation (comparable to $61).
The monitors will be with you to guide you!
Date: June 19th
On this adventure day, we will explore 4 treetops courses (with an increasing degree of difficulty) and ziplines among the largest in Québec! (more than a kilometre downhill altogether).
Besides the monitors, there will also be specialized instructors there to help you, so no need to worry, even if you have never done this before!
A Day in Mount Orford
Date: June 25th
We will go spend the day at Mount Orford. You will be able to hike on the mountain (different paths are offered, some easier than others) or just chill on the beach!
The monitors will be there to hike, or just chill with you!
Fête des Vendanges and visit of Magog (Eastern Townships region)
Date: June 26th
Hop on the bus to discover the Eastern Townships area through the visit of 4 vinyeards in Sherbrooke, Magog and Orford, where you will be able to enjoy about 20 tastings. After the visit, we will go chill at Magog, a pittoresque little town about 30′ from Sherbrooke with a wonderful lake and a beach area to enjoy the sunset.
Outdoor weekend at the Vallée du Bras-du-Nord (Québec region) & Visit of Trois-Rivières (Mauricie region)
Dates: July 2nd and 3rd
On Saturday, we will go to the Vallée du bras du nord, a reserve with beautiful landscapes about 40 minutes away from Québec city.
We will do a 4 hours really smooth river descent, stopping many times, to have lunch and visit the Delaney’s waterfall.
Do not worry! The depth of the river is about 50 centimetres almost all the way. This trip is 100% adapted for beginners!
About a hundred people descending the river together, that’s definitely something!
After the descent, we will go to a camping site and have a much deserved BBQ dinner (included) near a bonfire, and sing and jam under the starlight.
The ÉÉF team is bringing the tents so all you need to sleep is your sleeping bag!
Visit of Trois-Rivières
After a long day on Saturday, on Sunday morning we will have breakfast (included), hop back in the buses and head to the Mauricie region, more specifically to Trois-Rivières, a dynamic city by the port with a very active downtown that you will be able to explore at your rythm with the monitors.
Day and night in Québec City & Waterpark / Rafting Day
Activities #6A (only waterpark) and #6B (waterpark and rafting)
Dates: July 9th and 10th
Cost: $115 for #6A and $175 for #6B
On Saturday, we will go directly to Québec city to explore the many things this beautiful historic town has to offer. Since we are spending the night in the city, you will also get to see some of the nightlife, that includes shows, street performers and more!
Waterpark / White water rafting
On Sunday, we will all go to Valcartier. Depending on your choice, you will go to Valcartier’s Waterpark or go rafting (supervised cliff jumping and whitewater swimming assured for the rafting activity!). Students who chose the rafting activity may join the other students in the waterpark afterwards!
The monitors will be with you all along, and there will be specialised instructors on the rafting activity.
Because all activities are really fun, and most students decide to participate in all of them, we offer 2 package deals, that include all activities and are $24 cheaper than if you pay for them separately.
Package deal 1
Cost: $360 (instead of $384)
Activities included: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #6A
Package deal 2
